Vollendete Gegenwart is a long-term audiovisual project that was funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia in 2021. The focus of the project is the perception of time and reality. At first it has been photographed on medium and large format film, but the project has now developed into digital photography. The photographs consist of several stitched photographs. On closer inspection, each image has errors that occurred when the photos were stitched together. These pictorial constructs initially appear authentic and real, but ultimately they are a reference to the construct of our living spaces. An audio file is recorded for each image, which underscores the offset between time and image.
